Certified Breathwork Practitioner | Wirral, United Kingdom

Last updated: September 2026

Please read these terms carefully before booking, purchasing, or accessing any session, programme, product, or community offered through this website or directly through Katie O’Callaghan. By proceeding with a booking or purchase, you agree to these terms.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where anything in these terms conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights prevail.

1. About This Practice

Katie O’Callaghan is a certified Breathwork Practitioner and facilitator, operating as a sole trader in England under the business name INHERFREEDOM. Her contact details are: email [email protected]; website www.inherfreedom.co.uk. Services and products include:

  • 1:1 and group breathwork sessions, including monthly online sessions such as INHERFREEDOM Monday Night Breathwork
  • Workshops and online programmes (live, with live elements, or self-paced)
  • Digital products (recordings, PDFs, meditations, frameworks, and other downloadable or streamable content)
  • Membership communities and recurring monthly memberships

All offerings relate to breathwork, body and breath awareness, nervous system awareness, and personal development. Sessions are conducted in English and delivered in person or via an agreed online platform.

In these terms, “you” and “your” mean the person booking, purchasing, or accessing any service or product. “Katie” means Katie O’Callaghan, trading as INHERFREEDOM.

2. Medical Disclaimer

All sessions, programmes, and products are for personal development and wellbeing purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and do not constitute a clinical relationship, psychotherapy, counselling, or any form of regulated healthcare.

Nothing offered through this practice can diagnose or treat any medical, psychiatric, or mental health condition, and participation does not replace the care of your GP, psychologist, or other registered healthcare professional. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, or in an emergency call 999.

Active breathwork is not suitable for everyone. You must consult your GP before booking if you are pregnant, or have (or have had) any physical health condition, including cardiovascular disease, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy or seizures, glaucoma or retinal detachment, recent surgery or injury, or asthma or other respiratory conditions.

If you have any current or past mental health condition (including anxiety, depression, PTSD, psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or dissociative disorders), you must have approval from your doctor, your therapist, or both before booking. By booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, that you have obtained any approval required above, and that, to the best of your knowledge, you are in appropriate physical and mental health to take part. Katie may ask you to confirm that approval has been obtained. Katie may decline a booking, refuse access to a programme, or end a session if, in her professional judgement, participation would not be appropriate. Where she declines a booking for this reason before it takes place, you will receive a full refund.

3. Booking, Pricing, and Payment

Sessions may be booked through the website, the online booking system (such as Calendly), or by email. A booking is confirmed when you receive written or automated confirmation. Group sessions and programmes are confirmed once payment has been received in full.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) on www.inherfreedom.co.uk or the relevant booking page at the time of booking or purchase, and are the total price you pay. Prices may change, but changes do not affect bookings or purchases already confirmed.

Payment for 1:1 sessions is due before your session. Payment for group sessions, workshops, programmes, and digital products is due in full at the time of booking or purchase unless a payment plan has been agreed in advance. Under a payment plan, instalments are due on the dates agreed and remain payable whether or not you continue to take part, except where you are entitled to cancel under Section 4. Katie may pause access where a payment is overdue.

Session packs must be used within 12 months of purchase and are non-transferable unless agreed in writing. Unused sessions will not be refunded after this period.

Monthly Memberships and Recurring Payments

Monthly memberships renew automatically each month on the same date until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by email or through your account or payment provider, and no further payments will be taken after your cancellation takes effect. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not entitle you to a refund for the current month once it has begun, except as set out in Section 4. You will be told before any price change to a membership and can cancel before it applies.

4. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you book or buy online, by phone, or by email, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. To cancel, email Katie with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Refunds are made within 14 days using the original payment method.

  • Sessions, workshops and live programmes: the 14 days run from the day your booking is confirmed. If you ask for a session or programme to start within the 14 days, you will be asked to confirm this. If you then cancel within the 14 days, you will pay for any part of the service already provided. Once the service has been fully provided, the right to cancel ends.
  • Digital products and self-paced programmes: the right to cancel ends once you begin downloading or streaming the content, provided you have given express consent and acknowledged this at checkout. You will confirm: “I agree to immediate access and understand that I will lose my 14-day right to cancel once access begins.”
  • Memberships: the 14 days run from the start of your membership. If you access the membership space or take part in a session within that period at your request, you will pay for what you have used if you then cancel.

5. Cancellation Policy

This section applies in addition to, and does not reduce, your rights under Section 4.

1:1 Sessions

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less notice, or non-attendance, will be charged in full. If Katie cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund.

Group Sessions and Monthly Breathwork Sessions

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel a drop-in group session; less notice will be charged in full. Group sessions cannot be rescheduled, but you may transfer your place to another person with prior agreement (they must also agree to these terms and meet the requirements in Section 2). Where a replay is offered, it is provided as a convenience and is not a substitute for a refund.

Programmes

Once a programme has started and the cooling-off period has ended, payments are non-refundable. If exceptional circumstances prevent you from continuing, please get in touch to discuss options; any accommodation is at Katie’s discretion.

Cancellation by Katie

Katie may cancel or reschedule any session, programme, or event due to illness, technical failure, or other circumstances beyond her reasonable control. You will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled session.

6. Digital Products and Programmes

Digital products include recordings, guided meditations, breathwork audio, PDFs, workbooks, frameworks, and similar downloadable or streamable content.

Access and Licence

Purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Ownership of the content is not transferred. You may not share, distribute, reproduce, resell, or otherwise make any digital product available to anyone else without prior written consent.

Access Duration

Unless otherwise stated, access to digital products is provided for as long as the business operates. “Lifetime access” means the lifetime of the business, not of any individual customer. If the business closes, you will be given reasonable notice and the opportunity to download content where possible.

Faulty Content and Refunds

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a link does not work, the wrong product is delivered, or content is faulty or materially different from its description, please get in touch and Katie will repair or replace it; if that is not possible, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund. Refunds are not given for change of mind once access has begun (see Section 4).

Programme Content

Each programme’s content and structure will be described on the relevant sales page. Katie may update content to improve quality or reflect best practice, provided the core offering remains substantially as described. Where live sessions are recorded and made available as replays, the availability period will be stated; not all live sessions are guaranteed to be recorded. You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, and software.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Breathwork and personal development involve personal exploration. Experiences and results vary between individuals; no specific outcomes are guaranteed, and testimonials represent individual experiences only.

7. Sessions, Online Delivery, and Community Spaces

Online Sessions

Online sessions are delivered via Zoom or another agreed platform. Please join from a safe, private, comfortable space where you can lie down undisturbed, and do not take part while driving or operating machinery. You may not record any session without Katie’s prior written consent and, in group settings, that of all participants. If technical difficulties on Katie’s side prevent a session, an alternative time or a refund will be offered.

Community Spaces

All sessions and community spaces are for adults aged 18 and over. Katie may remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate. By joining a community space, you agree not to harass, intimidate, or demean other members; share another member’s personal disclosures outside the community; distribute, sell, or reproduce community content; or use the space for commercial promotion without prior agreement. Katie may modify, suspend, or close a community space with reasonable notice where possible; if a paid space closes, you will receive a proportionate refund for any period paid for but not provided.

Confidentiality

Everything you share in a 1:1 session is kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a serious risk to your safety or that of others. In group settings, all participants are asked to keep what is shared confidential, though Katie cannot guarantee the conduct of other participants.

Safeguarding and Duty of Care

Katie has a duty of care to all clients and will act appropriately if concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a client or anyone else. Where there is a risk to life or of serious harm, she may share information with emergency services or other appropriate bodies, only as far as necessary to protect safety.

8. Your Responsibilities, Risk, and Limitation of Liability

Breathwork is a powerful somatic practice. You may experience physical sensations, emotions, or memories during or after a session. This is normal, and you are always in control: you can slow down, return to normal breathing, or stop at any time. You are responsible for listening to your body, following instructions, giving accurate health information, and having appropriate support in place, including from qualified professionals where needed.

Katie will provide her services with reasonable care and skill. She is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for losses caused by your failure to follow instructions or give accurate health information, or for any business losses. Otherwise, her total liability to you in connection with any session, programme, or product is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, recordings, meditations, frameworks, methodologies, PDFs, programme structures, and resources created by Katie, including content shared in community spaces and live sessions, remain her intellectual property and are protected by UK copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any content without prior written consent; use content to create derivative works, courses, or services; record any live session without prior written consent; or resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit any content. Breach of this section may result in your access to services and products being ended, and you may be responsible for losses this causes.

10. Testimonials and Marketing

Katie may invite your feedback after a session, programme, or purchase. Feedback will only be used in marketing with your consent, and your name, photo, or any identifying details will only be used with your explicit written consent. You can withdraw consent at any time and your testimonial will be removed from future marketing. Testimonials represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee of results.

11. Data Protection and Privacy (UK GDPR)

Katie processes your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). For the purposes of data protection law, Katie O’Callaghan, trading as INHERFREEDOM, is the data controller. For any data protection question or request, email [email protected].

What Data Is Collected

Katie may collect your name, contact details, date of birth, booking and payment history, communications with you, and any health information you choose to share (for example, when confirming medical approval to take part). Health information is “special category data” under UK GDPR and is only used with your explicit consent, for the purpose of keeping you safe during sessions. Card payments are handled by third-party payment providers; Katie does not see or store your full card details.

Why It Is Used and the Lawful Basis

  • Contract: to take bookings, deliver sessions and products, and manage payments and administration (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • Explicit consent: to use any health information you share (Article 9(2)(a)), and to send marketing emails (Article 6(1)(a) and PECR).
  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve the business and keep appropriate records, where this does not override your rights (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Legal obligation: to keep financial records required by HMRC and to act on safeguarding concerns where required by law (Article 6(1)(c)).

Who Your Data Is Shared With

Your data is never sold. It is shared only with trusted service providers needed to run the business, such as booking systems, video platforms, payment processors, email and newsletter providers, and secure cloud storage, and only as far as necessary. These providers act on Katie’s instructions and must keep your data secure. Some are based outside the UK (for example, in the USA or EU). Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. Data may also be shared where required by law or to protect someone’s safety.

How Long It Is Kept

Session records and any health information you share are kept for 3 years from your last session or purchase, then securely deleted. Financial records are kept for as long as HMRC requires (currently at least 5 years after the relevant tax return deadline). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data; have it corrected; have it deleted; restrict or object to its use; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out, but withdrawing consent to health data may mean Katie cannot safely deliver sessions). Requests are free and will be answered within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though Katie would welcome the chance to resolve any concern first.

Security

Your data is stored securely using password-protected and, where possible, encrypted systems, with access limited to Katie. If a data breach occurs that is likely to put your rights at risk, you and the ICO will be informed as required by law. No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out.

Cookies

www.inherfreedom.co.uk may use cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies (such as analytics or marketing cookies) are only placed with your consent via the website’s cookie banner, and you can change your choices at any time.

12. Communications and Third-Party Platforms

You will receive service emails about your bookings and purchases. You will only receive newsletters and marketing with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by contacting Katie. This does not affect service emails about active bookings.

The website and materials may link to third-party websites, tools, or platforms for convenience only; Katie is not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Where delivery uses a third-party platform (such as Zoom or a community hosting tool), that platform’s own terms and privacy policy also apply.

13. Changes, Governing Law, and General Provisions

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in services, the law, or best practice. The current version is always available at www.inherfreedom.co.uk. Changes will not affect bookings or purchases already confirmed, and members will be given reasonable notice of any material change and the option to cancel.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please contact Katie first; she will respond within 14 days and aim to resolve it informally and fairly. If it cannot be resolved, both parties may agree to use alternative dispute resolution before going to court.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. These terms, together with the relevant booking or sales page, form the entire agreement between you and Katie. No one other than you and Katie has any right to enforce these terms. If Katie delays in enforcing any term, she can still enforce it later.

Contact

If you have any questions about these terms before booking or purchasing, please email [email protected] or get in touch via www.inherfreedom.co.uk.
